27-year old righty swinging IF/OF Brent Lillibridge is off to a good start for the White Sox and he’s starting to earn more P.T. His speed and versatility in the field are getting him his P.T., but he’s also showing surprising power so far in 2011. He has also set a career high with his 5 homers already this year (he had never hit more than 2 in a season).

The White Sox have dealt 26-year old righty starting pitcher Brandon Hynick to the Reds for cash considerations. Hynick pitched in 7 games (all starts) in AAA-ball for the White Sox this year and he was 1-4 with a 7.85 ERA and a 1.69 WHIP. He gave up 51 hits (10 homers) in only 36 2/3 innings this year so he was essentially throwing B.P. Hynick was lost this season so the White Sox probably made a good deal here.
